How to discover the secret road trips

It does not calculate the average Joe long time to make your travel planning. He looks at a map and choose the railway that promise to take you there faster. He arrives in time to have experienced nothing but miles of deck, tolls and the odd truck stop. Score of punctuality: 10. Gozo: 0.

You are not like Joe. You know that the best parts of a journey are:

a) planning,
(b)) the landscape, and
c) experiments and discoveries along the way.

In other words, the best part of a road trip IS the trip. So, how do you find these scenic drives that do not show the secret maps? Well, you could have only one chance. Take the road less travelled, secondary road instead of the more direct route, busier. You can sort and find one of the best road trips ever. Or you may end up in first gear advancing together, through a construction zone, another thing that does not show the map. There is a better way.

Tips from a road trip-Aholic

I have been an addict in scenic drive since the day I got my license. I have rubber-neck my way through some of the most startlingly beautiful and little known road trips in the United States-national treasures that never get to see people in a hurry.

I go about planning my travels of the road in a way that leaves much room for chance: these nice little surprises and spectacular views that sneak up on you and leave you pleasantly impressed. If you're craving beauty, excitement and activities for you and the children, plan it all out is an exciting part of the journey.

Find scenic drives

If you like getting behind the wheel because it gets closer to nature, you are living in the country right. The United States has some of the world's most breathtaking scenery, much of it located in our national of which are all accessible by road.

If you prefer the road less traveled (and the only one with shorter lines), choose an alternate entrance to the Park the main one or take a scenic drive within the Park. The offices of the Park have maps that can guide you to points of view, remote lakes, mountains and trails. And don't forget the fact that people who know more about hidden treasures of the Park are the friendly Park Rangers who know all the nooks and crannies of the Park ... better than any map, the book guide or the casual visitor could. With a little "inside information" you can lead your family to a small picnic area of perfect Waterfall known image or to a pasture loaded with wild peacocks! If you time it right, you could find yourself pulling up next to a herd of wild mustangs or Buffalo; or if you have the wrong time, a swamp full of crocodiles.

Planning of emotions

The best road trips for adrenaline addicts often have some combination of curves, hills, valleys, rivers, lakes and waterfalls or precarious coastal roads. To make your travel plans, you could spend many happy hours, pouring over maps. Google Maps show topography of about any area in the United States and can point the mountains and valleys, as well as satellite views that indicate features such as lakes, rivers and forests. Or you can just visit a site that already mapped and tested roads by other enthusiasts.

Find popular attractions

Of course, you're taking a trip to the serenity of a scenic drive not for cheese roadside attractions and amusement parks, right? But wouldn't it be useful to know where the best barbecue? Or a large antique store? Or the location of the outdoor bluegrass festival?

One of the best sources for this type of information is your local club classic cars. When they aren't tinkering under the hood, they are riding the open path and find with other riders who know the best roads and routes ... and you can bet that they don't take the freeway! Or you could ask any person who drives a large motorcycle cruise where they have been lately. You'll probably get an entire year of great travel plans for the best road trips anywhere in America.
